Bobbi Design
A haven for a family of five
A family of five asked us to design their home, and the Bobbi project was born. Built for a single parent who wanted a calm base for herself and her three daughters, this tiny house became one of our most requested family layouts. The home now sits in a quiet rural setting, surrounded by countryside.
Since the first build, we have adapted the loft bedrooms for households of different sizes. The video below features Deb and Pete, who chose a different sleeping layout for their needs. Photos on this page include images shared by Living Big in a Tiny House.
Cook up a storm in this huge kitchen
The Bobbi kitchen is one of the largest in our range. Full-size appliances, generous worktops, and two wide windows keep the space bright and practical for everyday family cooking.
Relax at the end of the day in your comfortable lounge
The lounge area is sized for a modular corner sofa, giving the family a dedicated space to unwind at the end of the day.
Three comfy and cosy loft bedrooms
Bobbi includes three loft bedrooms with built-in storage. The main loft takes a queen bed comfortably, while the two smaller lofts fit a large single or paired beds arranged to suit younger family members.
A spacious bathroom and built in laundry area are essential for comfortable family living.
The bathroom includes a 900 x 900mm shower, full vanity, toilet, storage cupboard, and space for a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Special features include
TRAILER – built on a 9.0m x 2.8m double axle trailer, road legal when towed correctly.
BOBBI MEASUREMENTS – 9.0m long x 3m wide x 4.25m tall (including trailer height).
BEDROOMS – 3 loft bedrooms connected by a full-height walkway with storage in each loft.
BATHROOM – full-sized shower, vanity, laundry space, and storage for family use.
CHEF’S KITCHEN – one of the largest kitchens we build, with room for full-size appliances and daily meal prep.
LOUNGE – dedicated lounge space for a large corner sofa and family downtime.
Who the Bobbi Design Suits
The Bobbi layout works well for families who need separate sleeping space without giving up a full kitchen and bathroom. Three loft bedrooms linked by a full-height walkway give each person their own zone while keeping the ground floor open for cooking, relaxing, and daily routines.
